Ohia and Underground Themes

Unique wiki page features

{DIVFLOATING}The original MediaWiki site, with great visual design and functionality. (This box is an example of another original plugin used twice here, nested. DIVFLOATING has different parameters than the default DIV plugin: align, background, border, width, float, padding, margin, and clear). The text size is set with the TAG plugin.{DIVFLOATING}Monobook, the Mediawiki default theme, and the Mediawiki page layout in general have some interesting characteristics. For one thing, the page content area itself is pretty bare, with function links and so on moved to peripheral areas.
To replicate this in the Tikipedia theme, some of Tiki's wiki page controls have been moved to tabs above the content area and some to a Mediawiki-style toolbox, styled like a module, in the left-side column. This "module" (not a real Tiki module, but a template styled to look like one) is called only on wiki pages. This is where the links for 3-D browser, print, save, monitor, backlinks, language, and so on are located. Also, the page author information is moved from the wiki page area itself to a modified bottom bar that is loaded only on wiki pages.

Other changes from the Tiki default
Rather than having the usual side-column log-in module, this theme places a link to the log-in screen at the top right of the page, in keeping with the MediaWiki layout. In order not to interfere with the normal log-in module display when other themes are chosen, Tikipedia uses CSS to prevent the log-in box from displaying in the side column.
Page-top tabs are also used on image gallery, file gallery, directory, and tracker pages. In some cases, the templates needed a small edit to move the page-bar above the pagetitle, but most of the details were taken care of in the CSS file.
Bundled plugins
This theme includes several plugins to emulate the look and functionality of the Monobook theme at Mediawiki sites, but that can be used with other themes. These include: {THUMBDIV(align=>right, width=>90px, imgid=>2, title=>earth, alt=>earth, thumbwidth=>80, thumbheight=>60)}This is an example of the THUMBDIV plugin.{THUMBDIV}
- The MAKETOCBOX plugin, used above, is a styled {maketoc} tag that has a "Contents" title, can be floated left or right, and displays/hides the links similar to the Wikipedia function.
- The THUMBDIV image thumbnail plugin also shown on this page. This div can contain any wikitext with links or whatever, and displays a thumbnail of an image in a Tiki gallery, which links to the page of the full-size image.
- The TWOCOLORTITLEBOX used at the top of this page for the "Welcome to Tikipedia!" message was specifically made for the Mediawiki emulation but may have some other uses. The plugin is currently hardcoded to produce the font size; the title is divided into two spans, each of which can be given a color as a parameter.

Tikipedia theme updated for Tiki 2

New features include the options of a right-side column and top menu, and configuration of site logo through the Look & Feel admin panel. All other new features of Tiki 2 are supported.

Forecast: Candii Clouds

The original Candii Clouds theme is by Mark Schulz (elpirtxis), released under the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license. For TikiWiki the theme uses one table for page layout (necessary due to IE7's lack of CSS display:table support). The theme can be downloaded from the Candii Clouds file gallery. Until this site is updated to version 1.10, see Candii Clouds in action at zukakakina.com.
Andreas09 Updated for 1.10 Beta

The theme files are also at mods.tikiwiki.org so the theme can be installed using the Admin Mods feature if that is available at the site (shell access needed).
Like the other updated or new themes for 1.10, Andreas09 supports the Look & Feel options and other new features. The theme files will be updated regularly as Tiki 1.10 progresses.
Andreas08 theme for 1.10 beta

The theme files have also been added to mods.tikiwiki.org so the theme can be installed using the Admin Mods feature if that is available at the site (shell access needed).
Andreas08 fully supports Look & Feel (Site Identity) options, etc., and all the other new features in Tiki 1.10.
Mittwoch theme released
- Wed 24 of Oct, 2007 14:27 GMT-0000 - (14224 Reads)The Mittwoch theme, which has been in use at doc.tikiwiki.org for awhile, is now ready for downloading. Mittwoch was originally a GPLed design by Alexander Hanke for Joomla. The Tiki version of the theme has color- and fontsize-changing buttons for visual options.
This theme uses Luci's *litecss layout method so has no page layout tables. Additionally, in place of the standard module templates, there are table-free templates for side boxes whose titles are h3 headers and have ordered or unordered lists for list-type content.
Fluid Index theme released for Tiki

The theme is another one using the *litecess layout method. It features some neat styling details on blog pages in particular. The theme files can be downloaded from this site; the current version has been tested with Tiki up to version 1.9.8.1.
Andreas09 theme available
- Mon 14 of May, 2007 13:52 GMT-0000 - (12553 Reads)This is an adaptation for Tiki CMS of Andreas Viklund's freely released Andreas09 design. The theme uses luci's lite css layout method and so is source-ordered and table-free. Going beyond the great design of the original, this adaptation has a center content column that widens to accomodate large images, tables, etc. As with all Tiki themes, one-, two-, and three-column layouts are possible.
The page background and menu hover images can be easily changed. Alternative images are included.
After delays getting things to work properly with Internet Explorer 7, the theme files are finally finished and can be downloaded here. Please report any problems in the themes.tikiwiki.org forum.
Twist theme

The Twist theme visually floats the Tiki pages on a dark blue background, and has custom graphics for standard menus. (Since themes.tw.o normally uses PHP Layers menus in the left column, please visit the Twist and Site Identity demo pages to see the Twist menu style.)
Zuka theme finally available
- Sat 02 of Dec, 2006 10:17 GMT-0000 - (11451 Reads)It's taken a lot longer than expected, but the Zuka theme can now be downloaded from the Zuka file gallery at themes.tw.o. No registration or log-in is needed to download the files. (Update 2: Zuka_v1.1 is now available. It has better IE7 compatibility and includes the earlier fixes and updates.)
Zuka uses a source-ordered, no-tables, liquid layout based on luci's lite layout, similar to what is used by the simple.css Tiki theme.
The theme archive includes information about installation and customizing. Also see themes.tw.o/Zuka. The InterTiki user authorization system has been working off and on. If there are any questions or problems to report about Zuka installation and use, and if it isn't possible to log in here, please use the tw.o forum. The theme is released under the LGPL license and will soon be committed to Tiki CVS.
Tikipedia theme released
- Tue 02 of May, 2006 06:42 GMT-0000 - (16032 Reads)Undertaken to demonstrate the flexibility of Tiki CMS/Groupware page layout, the Tikipedia theme uses slightly modified Tiki template files, CSS, and new wiki plugins to emulate the well-known Mediawiki Monobook style. The theme package can be downloaded now from the New Themes gallery. Tikipedia_v1.0 has been tested with Tiki 1.9.2 and just-released 1.9.3.1.
Snow theme available

This is a full-width, three-column design with snowflake-pattern page backgrounds, module boxes, etc. A Flash .fla file is included for making a logo with a snowfall effect.
Kubrick theme released

This clean and simple design has been very popular especially with bloggers. For Tiki, Kubrick can expand horizontally to accomodate large gallery images, tables, and other wide content.
Planetfall theme available
